Waterjet cutting is a cold-cutting process that uses a high-pressure stream of water, or water mixed with an abrasive, to cut through virtually any material. Because it generates no heat, there are no heat-affected zones, no thermal distortion, and no material hardening.

We cut a wide range of materials including aluminum, stainless steel, carbon steel, nickel alloy, titanium, copper, brass, Inconel, glass, granite, marble, quartz, composites, fiberglass, rubber, foam, wood, Corian, laminates, and gasket materials.

Our equipment can cut metals up to 8 inches thick and handles both sheets and plates. Cutting capacity varies by material — contact us with your specific requirements.

Laser cutting works well for thin, non-reflective materials but generates heat that can warp or harden the material. Waterjet cutting handles a much wider range of materials with no heat-affected zones, no warping, and no material hardening — making it the better choice for heat-sensitive materials, thicker stock, and jobs where edge quality matters.
