What we cut
20+ Materials. One Machine.
Waterjet cuts virtually any material without heat — no warping, no hardening, no distortion. Here's everything we work with and what you can expect.
Our waterjet uses a high-pressure stream of water mixed with garnet abrasive to slice through almost any material with ±0.005" tolerance. Because there's no heat-affected zone, the cut edge is clean, true, and ready for finishing — or often ready to use as-is.

Stainless Steel
Smooth, burr-free edge- Max thickness
- Up to 4"
- Typical uses
- Food-grade parts, marine hardware, architectural panels
- Edge quality
- Smooth, burr-free edge — often no secondary finishing needed
No heat distortion means no discoloration or work hardening
Aluminum
Excellent- Max thickness
- Up to 8"
- Typical uses
- Aerospace components, enclosures, signs, lightweight frames

- Excellent — smooth edge, minimal taper
Cuts fast; ideal for intricate shapes and tight tolerances
Copper & Brass
Clean, precise edge- Max thickness
- Up to 3"
- Typical uses
- Electrical components, decorative trim, plumbing parts
- Edge quality
- Clean, precise edge — no burring
Waterjet avoids the work hardening that laser causes on copper
Titanium
Excellent- Max thickness
- Up to 2"
- Typical uses
- Aerospace, medical implants, high-performance parts
- Edge quality
- Excellent — no heat-affected zone, no microstructure change
One of the few processes that cuts titanium cleanly without cracking
Tool Steel & Hardened Steel
Good- Max thickness
- Up to 3"
- Typical uses
- Dies, molds, wear plates, industrial tooling
- Edge quality
- Good — may require light deburring on thick sections
Cuts hardened material without annealing or re-hardening
Stone & Tile
Granite
Clean edge- Max thickness
- Up to 4"
- Typical uses
- Countertop cutouts, custom tile, architectural inlays
- Edge quality
- Clean edge — no chipping or cracking
Intricate shapes and curves possible without risk of fracture
Marble
Smooth, precise edge- Max thickness
- Up to 3"
- Typical uses
- Decorative inlays, medallions, custom tile shapes
- Edge quality
- Smooth, precise edge — preserves natural veining
Ideal for ornate patterns that would crack under saw cutting
Porcelain & Ceramic Tile
Chip-free edge- Max thickness
- Up to 1.5"
- Typical uses
- Custom tile shapes, outlet cutouts, decorative borders
- Edge quality
- Chip-free edge — far cleaner than wet saw
No vibration means zero risk of cracking brittle tile
Slate & Quartzite
Clean edge, natural texture preserved- Max thickness
- Up to 2"
- Typical uses
- Flooring accents, wall panels, custom shapes
- Edge quality
- Clean edge, natural texture preserved
Handles irregular grain without splitting
Glass
Float Glass
Smooth edge- Max thickness
- Up to 1.5"
- Typical uses
- Custom mirrors, display cases, architectural glazing
- Edge quality
- Smooth edge — minimal chipping
Must be annealed (not tempered) — tempered glass shatters
Laminated Glass
Clean cut through both glass and interlayer- Max thickness
- Up to 1"
- Typical uses
- Safety glazing cutouts, custom shapes
- Edge quality
- Clean cut through both glass and interlayer
Waterjet is one of the only processes that handles laminated glass cleanly
Composites & Laminates
Carbon Fiber (CFRP)
Clean edge- Max thickness
- Up to 1"
- Typical uses
- Aerospace panels, motorsport parts, structural brackets
- Edge quality
- Clean edge — no delamination, no fraying
No heat means no resin melt or fiber pullout
Fiberglass (FRP/GFRP)
Good edge- Max thickness
- Up to 2"
- Typical uses
- Marine parts, enclosures, industrial panels
- Edge quality
- Good edge — minimal delamination risk
Wet cutting contains glass dust — safer than dry cutting
Kevlar & Aramid
Clean edge- Max thickness
- Up to 0.75"
- Typical uses
- Ballistic panels, protective equipment, aerospace
- Edge quality
- Clean edge — no fraying unlike laser or saw
Waterjet is the preferred process for aramid fiber cutting
Circuit Boards (PCB/FR4)
Precise, clean edge- Max thickness
- Up to 0.5"
- Typical uses
